Upcoming release - Enterprise 3.27.0 - Insightful Incaberry (by beginning of Q1 2027)

Compliance-grade audit logs

System Logs are being extended with audit categories required by regulated industries. The new categories cover:

• user account management
• user groups and role configuration
• access to restricted confidential tabs, including denied access attempts
• Entity Configuration and policy changes
• data exports
• user activity across elements

Until now, much of this activity was either not logged or only visible in the timeline, without the context auditors require. The new logs are available in the System Logs UI and via dedicated API endpoints. They capture details such as outcome, client IP and session, so you can feed them directly into your SIEM and answer audit requests without manual reconstruction.

Reliable background Excel import with validation preview

We are rebuilding the Excel element import as a background job. Large imports now run reliably and transparently, from validation to completion. Until now, the import ran in the browser. Large files could take a long time or fail, the progress bar did not reflect the actual progress, and errors were only shown together at the end. Closing the browser tab stopped the import altogether.

With the new import, you first validate your file and see how many rows will create, update or skip elements, and which rows contain errors, before anything is saved. Once you confirm, the import runs in the background with a live progress view showing processed rows, results and estimated remaining time. You can leave the page at any time. When the import finishes, you receive a notification with a summary and, where needed, a downloadable error report to correct and re-import the affected rows.

Besides, you may already anticipate the following:

Import

• Adding safety measures to the element import: Skip blank values is now enabled by default, switching it off requires a confirmation, and an info box recommends exporting elements first as a restore point.
• Introducing a Data Import Audit Log that records every import run with its user, options, status and result, making it easy to trace what was imported, when and by whom.

Ratings

• Adding a status filter to the Rating Analysis tab, so you can focus your analysis on active ratings and hide inactive or deleted ones.

Roadmap

• Strengthening roadmap governance with an optional approval step for roadmap changes. Changes that breach critical path rules, and connections proposed by users without connection permissions, are held until the affected element's owner or creator approves them. A new conflict view on the roadmap shows every element currently in violation of a rule.
• Adding a redirect from the element's Roadmap tab to a pre-filtered roadmap view. The view shows only that element and its connections up to the selected depth, so you can assess dependencies without loading the full roadmap.
• Sharing a roadmap with colleagues directly from the roadmap toolbar. You can select recipients, add an optional message and notify them in-platform, mirroring the existing element share functionality.

Workflow

• Introducing a new Roadmap trigger type for workflow action buttons that places an element on a predefined roadmap and layer. Combined with button dependencies, this can make roadmap placement a mandatory step in your stage-gate process.

Structured evaluation for parent-child ideation setups

We are bringing the evaluation capabilities of the Campaigns module to ideation setups built on parent-child and workflow. Until now, teams that chose parent-child and workflow for flexibility had to give up bulk rating and a clear view of evaluation progress. Each child element had to be rated one by one, and there was no overview of who had rated what. With this enhancement, users can select multiple elements in the Explorer and rate them in sequence. Evaluators assigned to child elements can rate all of them, or only the unrated ones, directly from the parent element's detail page. A new Evaluators overview on the parent shows which child elements have been rated and by whom.

Besides, you may already anticipate the following:

Campaigns

• Redesigning the phase selection in the campaign workflow configuration to provide a more intuitive and streamlined overview, and showing in which campaigns each phase is in use.

Notifications

• Enabling multiple reminders per date picker field, each with its own timing, recipients and email template, including reminders after a deadline has passed, so escalation levels can be kept informed of missed dates.

User management

• Introducing bulk edit in User management, allowing Application Owners to filter, select and update roles, user groups, status and user configuration fields for many users at once, without exporting and re-importing user data.

Workflow

• Upgrading the Value Change and Value Add workflow triggers to update multiple fields and values within a single action, allowing more sophisticated automation of your stage-gate processes with less configuration overhead.

Forms

• Introducing conditional logic for create and edit forms, so Application Owners can show fields based on the values entered in other fields, creating a guided and focused data-entry experience.

Relations

• Introducing configurable relation types, such as Partner or Competitor, to describe what kind of relationship two elements have, with related elements grouped by type on the detail page.

PDF export

• Adding a PDF export configuration per entity type, allowing Application Owners to define which fields appear in the export and where.
